Social Rides Week Commencing 9th January 2017

Hi All,

Firstly an apology to a few who turned up today ( Sunday 8th ) for the GRB ride.
I suppose I should have said it was a Road bike ride. I’ll make it more obvious next time.

Lets see if we can get the LL social rides ( Mountain Bike ) of to a good start.
New Year, new start, possibly some new kit etc……

So how about,

Date : Tuesday 10th January
Time : 6.30 – 6.45pm
Venue : Farmers Arms car park, St.Johns.
Trail leader will be Richard MacNee ( thanks Richard )

If any body is willing or available to trail lead for Thursday 12th, then please get in touch. And I’ll post it / send out an email notification etc.
I’m a bit busy this week.

Hopefully see you out & about on the trails or road.

Hi All,

I know it’s getting close to the festive season with plenty of Christmas parties etc….. oh and panic buying.

This week’s ride will be…..

Time : 6.30 – 6.45pm
Venue : Farmers arms car park , St.John.

Wrap up warm, plenty of layers. Just in case………

Hi All,

Apologies for last weeks ride cancellation. Lets hope the weather this week isn’t as bad as the weather man is predicting…..

Time : 6.30 – 6.45pm
Venue : The Sidings car park, Castletown.

Only 1 ride this week, unless somebody wants to trail lead for Thursday night.

Social Rides Week Commencing 31st October 2016

Hi All,

The clocks have gone back and its getting closer to winter.
So we’ll all be going for our winter riding gear shortly.

So why not join us for a social ride.

Its Halloween tomorrow night, so if you fancy wearing a mask or fancy dress, to get into the spirit of it, then that’s cool.

Date: Monday 31st October
Time : 6.30 – 6.45pm
Venue : Crosby playing fields, near Ellerslie.
Refreshments afterwards at Cafe Rachel.

And

Date : Thursday 3rd November
Time : 6.30 – 6.45pm
Venue : Cat without a Tail, Douglas..

You will need lights, so don’t forget them, and maybe a waterproof jacket.

Winter is just round the corner and the nights are drawing in, the weather is turning for the worse.

So why not join us for a social ride.

Hi All,
I know it’s been a while since our last social ride. It was probably 25th & 26th June, our Biggest social ride of the year.

Well done to everyone who either rode it, supported it, organised it or just came up for a slice of cake & a cuppa. It was a great event. Thanks to you all.
