Cat gets the Trophy!
Pictured below at her home in ‘V2 Gym‘ is Cat(reena) Quirk (nee Price) holding her long awaited but well deserved Longest Day, Longest Ride Female Solo Winners Trophy, beautifully handcrafted by our one and only, trophy miester, Dave ‘Mr Foxdale’ Newsham. Well done Cat, two years on the run, can you make it a third in 2013?
Social Rides Re-Commence
Hi All,
Well now that the End 2 End is over, lets start having some fun.
Social ride this coming week, week commencing Monday 17th September.
Date: Tuesday 18th September
Time: 6:30 – 6:45pm
Start Venue: Marown playing fields, Crosby
Route: …..? That will be upto Seamus
Trail Leader will be Seamus. (Hope thats okay with you Seamus….)
I won’t be able to ride this week, as I’m taking eldest step-daughter to Uni.
So enjoy yourselves, and I’ll see you all when I get back.

Club Kit
We had a club meeting Tuesday night at Seamus’ house (thank you for the hospitality and Stevio for the extra biscuits) and among other things discussed whether people wanted to order any of the new Green kit?
A few people asked whether it was still possible to get the original Green kit and this is being sourced as I type. So in anticipation that we can still get the original Green kit below are the styles, designs and colours soon to be available to buy.
Also below is the sizing guide for these jerseys, all will be MTB cut and mens sizes only* and the new club Buff.
If you would like to order any of the Loaghtan Loaded club kit please drop Gadge and E-mail (gadge@loaghtanloaded.com) stating which style, colour, size and quantity you would like. Jersey costs are approximately £40** and Buffs are approximately £15**
* Child sizes are available upon request (we require chest size and child’s age)

Cheque Presentation
We would like to pay a huge thank you to everyone that has sent in their sponsorship money so far. The other week, when we actually had some sun we made a presentation of a cheque for £3,2910.00 to Mary Doyle, representative of Rebecca House and Hospice, they were extremely grateful for all that everyone has done for them.
Pictured is Barry Martin and Gary Cooper from the Loaghtan Loaded MTB Club with Mary Doyle, PR and Marketing Manager for Hospice. The two gentleman presented Mary with the absolutely staggering amount of £3,291 for the children’s hospice, Rebecca House. This donation was raised as a result of the great 24 hour cycling event held in June. They had also presented Autism in Mann with the same amount – a total of £6,582.
Gary explained that he had personal experiences of dealing with both charities and wanted to do something worthwhile for them. The Microgaming Longest Day, Longest Ride challenge is organised by the Loaghtan Loaded and was an incredible event to be part of and it was with great pleasure that Gary and Barry handed over this donation.
Next years Longest Day, Longest Ride will be held on 15 and 16 June 2013 and will raise funds for the Manx Wildlife Trust and Craig’s Hearstrong Foundation.
Loaghtan Loaded Club Meeting – All Welcome
Hi All,
Firstly, good luck to everybody thats doing the End2End this weekend.
And also good luck to all those who aren’t, but they might be following / supporting us…with trying to park and get to places.
Okay, we are holding a meeting this coming Tuesday, 11th September.
Time : 7.00pm
Venue : Seamus’s house, Lhergy Cripperty, Union Mills. (If you don’t know where that is, get in touch)
The meeting will be about discussing next years tour / trip, club membership, social rides, future events on & off island.
All welcome.

Social Rides and End2End Good Luck!
Hi Everyone,
I know we haven’t had many social rides recently, due to holidays, events and lots of people do their End2End training but this is going to change.
Our normal social rides will re-commence week commencing 10th September.
May I take this opportunity to wish everybody competing in the End2End, good luck.
