Social ride this coming week, week commencing Monday 17th September.

Start Venue: Marown playing fields, Crosby
Route: …..? That will be upto Seamus
Trail Leader will be Seamus. (Hope thats okay with you Seamus….)
I won’t be able to ride this week, as I’m taking eldest step-daughter to Uni.
So enjoy yourselves, and I’ll see you all when I get back.

We would like to pay a huge thank you to everyone that has sent in their sponsorship money so far. The other week, when we actually had some sun we made a presentation of a cheque for £3,2910.00 to Mary Doyle, representative of Rebecca House and Hospice, they were extremely grateful for all that everyone has done for them.
Pictured is Barry Martin and Gary Cooper from the Loaghtan Loaded MTB Club with Mary Doyle, PR and Marketing Manager for Hospice. The two gentleman presented Mary with the absolutely staggering amount of £3,291 for the children’s hospice, Rebecca House. This donation was raised as a result of the great 24 hour cycling event held in June. They had also presented Autism in Mann with the same amount – a total of £6,582.
Gary explained that he had personal experiences of dealing with both charities and wanted to do something worthwhile for them. The Microgaming Longest Day, Longest Ride challenge is organised by the Loaghtan Loaded and was an incredible event to be part of and it was with great pleasure that Gary and Barry handed over this donation.
Next years Longest Day, Longest Ride will be held on 15 and 16 June 2013 and will raise funds for the Manx Wildlife Trust and Craig’s Hearstrong Foundation.

Firstly, good luck to everybody thats doing the End2End this weekend.
And also good luck to all those who aren’t, but they might be following / supporting us…with trying to park and get to places.
Okay, we are holding a meeting this coming Tuesday, 11th September.
Time : 7.00pm
Venue : Seamus’s house, Lhergy Cripperty, Union Mills. (If you don’t know where that is, get in touch)
The meeting will be about discussing next years tour / trip, club membership, social rides, future events on & off island.
